Every one of these gets the same start: a conversation, then an exam. Nothing is treated before it is understood.

Request an AppointmentThe two reasons most people call. Each one is examined first and adjusted second, never the reverse.

The exam decides which of these you get. Most people get more than one.
The core adjustment. Precise, controlled, specific to the segment.
Shoulders, wrists, hips, knees, ankles. The spine is not the only joint that locks up.
A segmented table gently lengthens the low back and opens space around the disc.
Stainless instruments work through scar tissue and adhesion in the soft tissue.
Guided movement and loading, so the work holds after you leave the table.
Slow traction that unloads the disc and takes pressure off the nerve.
Elastic tape that supports a joint without locking it down.
A thin filament needle into the trigger point. No injection, no medication.
Meet Dr. Boerjan
Dr. Bryan Boerjan is a board certified chiropractic physician. Before Rise Chiro, he built and launched the chiropractic and rehabilitation division inside Gulf Coast Pain Specialists, a physician led multi specialty center in Pensacola.
Fifteen years of working next to pain management physicians, orthopedic surgeons and neurosurgeons taught him exactly what chiropractic can fix. It also taught him the moment it cannot, and who to send you to.
He played Division I basketball at Samford University and earned his Doctor of Chiropractic at Logan College of Chiropractic in Chesterfield, Missouri. He lives in Pensacola with his wife Stephanie and their two daughters.
Your first visit
What hurts, when it started, what you have already tried. The first thing that happens is a conversation.
A physical exam. If you have imaging, it goes up on screen and gets walked through with you.
Adjustment, instrument work, soft tissue or decompression. Whatever the exam actually points to.
A treatment plan paced to your case. You will know what comes next before you leave.
Motor vehicle injury
Florida’s no fault law requires you to receive initial medical care within 14 days of a crash in order to use the personal injury protection benefits on your own policy. Miss that window and you can lose coverage you already pay for.
Dr. Boerjan treats motor vehicle injuries and documents them from the first visit.
